Együtt ünneplik az Ilinden-felkelés évfordulóját a magyarok a macedónokkal Hungarians celebrate the anniversary of the Ilinden Uprising together with Macedonians

Az Ilinden-felkelés a Balkán-félsziget egyik legfontosabb ünnepe. Az augusztus 2-i ünnepet követő hétvégén a magyarországi macedónok és a macedóniai magyarok közössége is megemlékezett az 1903-as, Oszmán uralom elleni felkelésről. Beloiannisz faluban, a görög polgárháború idején macedón nemzetiségűek is érkeztek Magyarországra. E közösség néhány tagja Beloiannisz faluban lakik. Nikolovszki Riszto történész hagyományosan minden évben megemlékezést és kiállítást szervez a falu művelődési házában, Ilinden ünnepén. Ezen az eseményen minden évben előadást tart és bemutatja a kiállítást. Ezen a macedón közösség tagjai vesznek részt, Iljovszki Riszto történésszel és Bólya Anna Mária Balkán kutatóval együtt. Ugyanakkor a macedóniai magyarok közössége is nagyszabású ünnepséget rendezett ezen a hétvégén. Az Ilinden-felkelés legfontosabb helyszínén, Kruševo városában a "Krusevói köztársaság 10 napja" rendezvény sorozat keretében megszervezett "magyar nap"-on emlékeztek meg és tartottak kulturális bemutatót. Az eseményen megjelent Klein András, Magyarország szkopjei nagykövete, Tome Hrisztoszki, Krusevo város polgármestere, és a macedóniai magyarok közösségének számos tagja. The Ilinden Uprising is one of the most important celebrations in the Balkans. On the weekend following the 2 August holiday, the Macedonian community in Hungary and the Hungarian community in Macedonia commemorated the 1903 uprising against Ottoman rule. In the village of Beloiannis, ethnic Macedonians also arrived in Hungary during the Greek Civil War. Some members of this community live in the village of Beloiannis. Every year, historian Risto Nikolovski traditionally organises a commemoration and an exhibition in the village's community centre on the feast of Ilinden. Every year at this event he gives a lecture and presents the exhibition. The event is attended by members of the Macedonian community, together with historian Risto Iljovski and Balkan researcher Anna Maria Bólya. At the same time, the community of Hungarians in Macedonia organised a large-scale celebration this weekend. The most important site of the Ilinden uprising, the town of Kruševo, was commemorated and a cultural show was held as part of the "10 Days of the Republic of Kruševo" series of events, which included a "Hungarian Day". András Klein, Hungary's Ambassador in Skopje, Tome Hristoski, Mayor of Krusevo, and many members of the Hungarian community in Macedonia attended the event.
